I recently found a student's thriller piece which was awarded a grade A. The film is called 'INVITE' and will serve as inspiration for my own thriller both in terms of the titles and the film itself. I believe that the titles themselves play a large role in the mood of the film, and can immediately give suggestion to what the film could entail, as well as the film's overall quality.
The film 'INVITE' uses a sans serif, light blue font throughout the opening sequence, apart from for the reveal of the film's title where it adopts a black colour in the same style. Personally I do not fully agree with the style of font however I have taken notice of the order in which the titles are presented, as well as their presence within each shot. These are both issues which I will address in my own thriller, thereby using this project as inspiration for my own titles.
